Delivering Projects through any Delivery Method
Ulliman Schutte enjoys the flexibility to complete projects using virtually any contract structure. In addition to the traditional Design-Bid-Build method and the ever-growing collaborative models of CMAR and Design-Build, we have employed several hybrid or value-added methods to accommodate the specific needs of our clients. When assisting in the evaluation of the "best" method for a project, we perform a comprehensive analysis of the the client's project timeline, budget, desired degree of design input, funding sources, future operation plans, and other factors, as well as the applicable state and national codes. We can also recommend a best-fit contract template selected from a variety of sources (EJCDC, DBIA, CMAA, etc.) with modifications to accommodate the project's needs and the applicable state codes and restrictions.

Ulliman Schutte has served as Design-Builder on some of the largest and most complex projects in the United States. This delivery model leverages our estimators’ and engineers’ hard-earned experience – as well as their friendly, collaborative personalities – to provide a fully-optimized project for our clients.

The CMAR delivery model allows our clients to take advantage of Ulliman Schutte’s expertise and creativity during design development while still maintaining a traditional contract directly with the design engineer. As in the design-build model, Ulliman Schutte provides cost certainty and accurate scheduling to inform design decisions and proactively mitigate risks.
